I doubt you will get the most success you could if you hide behind your computer for the rest of your life. There will come a time when you will have to connect with people.

Using the internet however can be used as a very powerful tool for contacting people. Nothing is better than a telephone call or face to face meeting though. The next thing you should concentrate on is generating traffic to your funnel. I'd say that for 95% (maybe more) of people on the internet traffic is their biggest stumbling block. You can't just 'magic' up traffic online. You really have a couple of options, you can buy traffic (which could get expensive, especially if you don't know what you're doing), or you can work hard to get free traffic. I worked hard for my regular flow of traffic. I used articles and videos and created a blog, as I didn't have any spare money when I got started. You also might want to look at using offline methods as well.

If you are getting regular visitors and leads then you should be looking to make sure your funnel system is working the best it can. You want to maximise your conversions to produce the best results. Don't spend time on this until you are actually getting some leads though.

The final part of the process is to start earning money from people in your sales funnel. Most systems will have affiliate income streams built into them, so you will be easily earning money even if people don't join your main business. Of course you want to work hard to convert your leads into active distributors in your team.

To achieve this you are going to need personal relationship and recruiting skills.

Building a network marketing business online is a viable option, but you must understand it will still require your input and you building personal relationships with prospects.
